About the author
Emma Ewer is an autistic and ADHD outdoor educator, disability support provider, ministry leader, and advocate who believes every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and celebrated. Through her work, Emma has walked alongside children and families who experience the world in beautifully different ways — children who feel deeply, notice quietly, and need space to grow at their own gentle pace.

Her heart for God, families, nature, and inclusion inspired the creation of The Beloved Woods — a soft, story-filled world where children are reminded they are not too much, not too different… but wonderfully made, exactly as they are, created in God’s image.
Emma lives in Australia with her husband Brent and their children, Adelyn and Oliver, who are both autistic and experience the world in their own unique and beautiful ways. Drawing from her own lived experience, her journey as a mother, alongside more over 20 years working with children, Emma loves creating meaningful resources that help children, families, and educators nurture connection, courage, and a deep sense of belonging.
