No Other Gospel

The apostle Paul declares that true freedom is found in only one place: the gospel of Jesus Christ. Anything less—or anything added to it—leads not to liberty, but to slavery.

Writing to the churches in Galatia, Paul confronts a dangerous drift back to the law of the old covenant. His warning is both urgent and uncompromising. The Christian life cannot be sustained by a mixture of law and grace, flesh and Spirit. The two are fundamentally opposed, and the church must choose which gospel it will embrace.

With remarkable passion and clarity, Paul exposes the subtle deception that robs believers of their freedom and power in Christ. He reminds the church that Jesus’ work on the cross was complete, securing a freedom that must never be exchanged for the burden of religious performance.

Many dismiss Galatians as a letter addressing a first-century controversy. Yet Paul’s message is as relevant today as it was then. Whenever the church loses sight of the gospel of grace and returns to old covenant thinking, it risks exchanging the life of the Spirit for the bondage of legalism.

No Other Gospel invites readers to rediscover the liberating message of Galatians and to embrace the fullness of life that is found only in Christ. It is a timely call for every believer and every church to stand firm in the freedom for which Christ has set us free.
