Dr. Alaric Thalassa has spent his career proving that time only moves one way. History, he says, isn’t a river — it’s a canyon, already carved, already done.
Then he wakes up in Jerusalem. Passover week, 33 AD.
He has two thousand years of scholarship and total foreknowledge of what happens next. No historian has ever had this chance. Alaric means to use it — moving through crowded streets, warning disciples, watching Pharisees, placing himself between the weight of history and the man at its center. He is a physicist among prophets, certain the right variable at the right moment can bend the arrow of time itself.
He is wrong.
In the alleyways and olive groves of Jerusalem, Alaric learns what no equation could teach him: that knowing how a story ends and living inside it are not the same thing — and that no one walks away from what they witness unchanged.
The Gospel of Relativity is a novel about the limits of foreknowledge, the arrogance of certainty, and what happens to a man of science when he finally meets something he cannot measure.
