Thus to Fling Her Soul is for every woman, every man, who lives deeply in his/her body, mind and soul. It is for artists, sportsmen and women, and every dancer. It is for we who ponder over how the vessel that is our body expresses the holy gift of life.

This book is for everyone who is growing older.

It is for everyone who has, in his or her unique way, known him/herself to be ‘Called.’

And for everyone who has responded to that Call, with perseverance, persistence, even jaw-clenching doggedness, and with a strength of mind, body and soul that has faced formidable setbacks with a Will to Keep Going. With a Will that might waver, flicker, tremble, but does not disappear.

And with, undeniably, the gift of grace.

Jennifer De Leon is a dancer-choreographer-psychotherapist-researcher-mother and crone. She is trained in the UK, USA, and New Zealand and has choreographed and performed internationally. She is founder of “The Healing Dance” dance/movement therapy, is a certificated practitioner in Laban Movement Fundamentals (New York). Her Masters’ thesis in Health Science (awarded First Class Honours) was the first in New Zealand to be presented in both written (book form) and live performance. Jenny presently works from her studio in Grey Lynn, Auckland, NZ. And she is the mother of the two most-loved people in her life, Danny and Gwen.
