The Amazing Power of Forgiveness

Bitterness, division, and unforgiveness are tearing apart families, churches, and communities. But does the Gospel offer a solution? In The Amazing Power of Forgiveness, Dr. Jeff Hammond shares real-life testimonies that reveal how the power of forgiveness can break the chains of sin, hatred, bitterness, and division. This divine power is something God wants us to harness.

Many church leaders have been profoundly impacted by the truth and challenge of Christ’s message on forgiveness, as outlined in this book. Some of their reflections include:

• “I’ve read numerous books on forgiveness, but nothing like this.”

• “The book was so powerful that I read it twice. For two days afterward, I wept in prayer.”

• “This message has called me to repentance and forgiveness.”

• “I found myself in my bedroom, asking God for forgiveness.”

• “My prayer is that this strategic book will awaken the Church in the Western world.”

With unique insights on forgiveness, Dr. Hammond offers a compelling challenge to transform our lives and become the Church that Jesus desires us to be.

About the author
Dr. Jeff Hammond, along with his wife Annette, has served in ministry in Indonesia since 1974. Their home church, CityLife Melbourne, has supported them for over 50 years. Jeff has been deeply involved in campus ministry, the charismatic movement, and has led church seminars across Evangelical, Pentecostal, and Charismatic churches in Asia, Australia, the USA, the South Pacific, and Europe.

Together with Annette, Jeff has actively ministered in the Middle East and led numerous teams from Indonesia to train in sharing the Gospel with Islamic communities.

Jeff’s vision is to see the Great Commission fulfilled in our generation. He believes the Power of Forgiveness is a key to unlocking a global movement of unity, with the Holy Spirit sparking worldwide revival. For this vision to come to fruition, the Body of Christ must be healed and united, as Jesus prayed in John 17:20-23: “that they all may be one… so that the world may believe.”
