Andrew Dutton is a devoted husband, a father of three, and a passionate advocate for building strong families and communities through unrelenting, unconditional love.
He writes from the deep trenches of lived experience. Having navigated the extreme joys and heartbreaking lows of parenting, including the profound loss of his son, Michael at the age of 20, Andrew’s journey through the complexities of his son’s struggles forged his core belief that parents must “run towards the mess”. His story is a testament to holding on when everything falls apart.
Grounded in his Christian faith, Andrew believes that while life is undeniably chaotic, every person is beautifully, fearfully, and wonderfully made. He lives his own beautiful mess alongside his wife of over 28 years, Faith, and continues to find purpose, hope, and joy in his children, Emily and Elijah.
