Jennifer Moore
Jennifer Moore grew up in Brisbane and trained as a speech pathologist
at the University of Queensland. After working in Toowoomba for
two years, she married Bruce, a Victorian farmer, and moved to
the small Mallee town of Beulah. It was during her eighteen months
in Beulah that she learnt about country life and was inspired
to write a book. Her husband’s call to become a minister
led them to Melbourne, which was to be their home for the next
nine years.
Jennifer and Bruce have recently returned to Brisbane where they
are actively involved in the local church and school communities.
They have three beautiful daughters – Amy, Mollie and Jemima
– along with two happy dogs, three mice and a fish. Apart
from her love of writing, Jennifer also enjoys music, reading,
and spending time with her family and friends. She thanks her
husband for continuing to be her ‘walking encyclopedia’
on all things country.
