Bible Journaling: Growing closer to God

By Chantal Wilson

Have you been looking for a new way to grow and strengthen your relationship with God? Or maybe you, or a friend of yours, would like a fun way to start getting to know God. Bible journaling might just be what you need!

Bible journaling is a fantastic way to engage with scripture. But it can be a bit daunting to many, especially if you don’t think you are any good at drawing or are afraid that you’ll just make a big mess in your bible.

Don’t be afraid. This book has two wonderful things to tell you.

First, bible journaling isn’t about other people. It’s about your relationship with God. God doesn’t care if your drawing is a stick figure or a re-creation of the Mona Lisa. And it’s not about the outcome, it’s about the journey.

Second, you do not have to be an artist! Don’t let fear get in your way. Start small and see how you go. You’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish.

This book will help you select art supplies, choose a bible to journal in, provide you with easy to follow step-by-step instructions for preparing pages, creating backgrounds, lettering and embellishments, draw images related to key verses and words, and so much more.

“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
